“The Division” – film adaptation of the Ubisoft video game “Tom Clancy’s The Division” will have Stephen Gaghan as its screenplay writer and director.
The film will star Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain and is based on the video game, where the aftermath of a small pox pandemic plagues an apocalyptic Manhattan.
Gaghan’s latest film credits as a director include 2002’s “Abandon” and 2005’s “Syriana”.
“The Division” is currently scheduled for a 2018 release date.
