According to producer Larry Kasanoff in a recent interview, the upcoming film based on the classic video game, “Tetris”, will be made into a trilogy.
“Tetris” has already secured $80 million in funding from Chinese sources for Kasanoff, who produced the live-action movie version of another classic arcade video game, “Mortal Kombat” and will begin filming in China next year.
No story line has yet been announced for the first film of the trilogy, which is expected to receive a 2018 release date.
